Purple Day

March 26 is celebrated as Purple Day. It is an international grassroots effort dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy worldwide. People wear purple and organize events and activities to educate others about epilepsy, reduce stigma, and show support for those living with the condition. Purple Day was founded in 2008 by Cassidy Megan, a young girl from Canada who has epilepsy, to encourage conversation and understanding about epilepsy and to empower those affected by it.
